FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC)
FRC (First Robotics Competition) is a robotics competition organization. They host competitions where teams from different schools must design, build, wire and program a robot to complete a specific task. They all compete against each other in games where they can score points if they fulfill certain tasks.
The Competition Experience
Competitons are a 3 day event lasting from Friday to Sunday. On Friday, teams meet at the competition floor where their task is to set up and making sure their robot is ready to go, which lasts the entire day. On saturday, the teams compete in preliminary matches, where they try to win as many games as they can. On Sunday, the most successful teams then complete in finals to determine who wins the competition.
